KindRoot is an AI-powered platform that enables families to create personalized storybooks and educational learning experiences for their children. Our services include:

AI-generated personalized stories and illustrations
Educational “Living Learning Lessons”
Audio narration for stories
Physical book printing and delivery (via Lulu)
Family profile management

3. Account Registration

To use KindRoot, you must:

Be at least 18 years old
Provide accurate and complete registration information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Subscription and Payments

Subscription Plans

KindRoot offers subscription plans with varying features and token allowances. Plan details and pricing are available on our website.

Billing

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually)
Payment is processed securely through Stripe
You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
No refunds are provided for partial billing periods

Physical Products

Orders for physical books are non-refundable once sent to print. Defective products will be replaced at no charge.

5. User Content

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, text, preferences). By uploading content, you grant KindRoot a license to use it solely for providing the Service to you.

Generated Content

Content generated by KindRoot (stories, illustrations, lessons) is created for your personal, non-commercial use. You may:

View, download, and print generated content for personal use
Share generated content with family and friends
Order physical copies of storybooks

You may not:

Resell or commercially distribute generated content
Use generated content to train AI models
Remove or alter any watermarks or attributions

Content Restrictions

You agree not to upload content that:

Infringes on intellectual property rights
Contains illegal, harmful, or inappropriate material
Violates the privacy of others
Contains malware or harmful code

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Interfere with or disrupt the Service
Use automated tools to access the Service without permission
Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
Use the Service to generate harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content

7. AI-Generated Content

Nature of AI Content

Content is generated by artificial intelligence based on your inputs and preferences. While we strive for quality, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors, inconsistencies, or unexpected results.

No Guarantee

We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will meet specific requirements or be free from errors. You are responsible for reviewing content before use.

Content Moderation

We reserve the right to refuse generation of content that violates our policies or applicable law.

KindRoot integrates with third-party services (Stripe, Lulu, etc.). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KINDROOT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.

Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
